What paint to use to spray a TMIC.
 

I have recently fitted an STI8 IC to my 98 wrx and need to repaint it due to scratching the bugger!

Whats the best paint to use, I'm thinking about the heat to be honest. I will only be painting the outer part and not the fins.

Oh, forgot to say, I have the use of a compressor and spray gun.

Hammerite smooth sticks well and looks good.

Yeah, got a can of silver. What about bare ali bits? Special primer as the tin says or not?

I have a wrx intercooler for my my00, i'm gonna paint that matt black so it looks standard...ish!

What paint RON?

Whats this 2.5 you have got? is it in your motor?

Gave up with it mate..... too much grief and cash for me, sold the motor now... and the gearbox..... do you want a 20g turbo??

I have seen the 20g you have. I had my car mapped last week by Andy F and could have done with it mate!
