need help about turbo specifications
 

hello all.. my car is my02 sti7 with k&n typhoon filter , uppipe, magnex exhaust , and hks evc. now i need more power so i thought to change the turbo. i heared from a friend about the japanese turbo which is ihi vf-37. he told me it was much faster than any sti he knew and spooled much faster. i looked around and saw a review at subarureview.com and the guy said it reached full boost at 3500rpm.

so i got the turbo with its own mainfolds and was ready to install it untill a friend visited me and told me i was totally wrong and the original turbo is much faster. i asked a few other people around here and they agreed with him. now i am lost i need some advice very quickly because i have to return the turbo back tonight if i am not buying it. thank you all in advance.
