Flying to Augsburg, Germany
 

I need to get to Augsburg (near Munich) in Germany on saturday to pick up a car, any idea how I fly there from London area. I have had a look on most flight sites I can think of and no joy as yet???

Augsburg is about 65km from Munich, your best bet is to fly to Munich Flughafen, get the S-Bahn to Munich Hauptbahnhof then get the regional express to Augsburg hauptbahnhof then get a taxi to your final destination..

Hauptbahnhof = Main Station.

I recently flew to Munich.
Airport is fine, S-Bhan is a doddle to use and everyone speaks English.

Its a nice part of the world. I only went for a day trip, but cant wait to go back there for longer visit.

I've been - flew Easyjey from Stansted to Munich. Can't advise beyond that - I got a lift to Augsberg

And have a meal at that nice italian near the square, oh and visit the icecanal if your into canoeing, great fun.
