It didn't last long, the Bugati Veron has beaten it !!
Aparently if you want to go Vmax in the Veron you have to phone Bugati, who give you a code or something, you key this in, in the car, it then goes through a check list. Only then, if it meets all the check list requirements does it relinquish the limiter.

So, there you are on the Autobarn or motorway etc, low & behold a Enzo (or similar) comes in to view ............... the race is on............. pull over, give Bugati a ring, get the code, go through the check list, then atempt to catch the Enzo that is now in another county/country.
You can't derestrict it first, cos as soon as you hit the brakes, it resets the limiter !!!!!!!! and you paid how much for it !!!!!!!

You also have to get Bugatti to come and put special tyres on to do over 186mph so in the real world just about every modern porsche, aston, Ferrari, Lambo etc will be quicker than the veryon.

Have to say - that sounded awesome - and really rather stable at 200+ mph !
