help needed changing side light bulb

i have a classic impreza and need to change the side light bulb as its blown. Had a look at it but can't seem to find a way to remove bulb to change it. I don't want to force anything so any help appreciated. Does the side light come off to change it?
cheers

yes mate the whole sidelight has to come out undo the screw that holds it to the headlight under the bonnet then theres like a ball and socket thats fu**ing tight lower down nr bottom of the lens sometimes you can release by pushing the sidelight lense fwd otherwise try levering a screwdriver steadily between front panel(at the side of where youve took the screw out of) once loose you can either take out completely or just undo bulbholder with the lens half way out when putting back in theres a guide to line up on the back, hope this helps.

undo screw and remove. Then stand side on to the car facing the front and place your palm on the sidelight itself. With a push against the sidelight, push forward (away from the car) and it should pop out of the ball socket. This will do the same as using a screwdriver or the like and wont cause any damage!!!

Just push it back in when refitting. It should pop back into the socket with a little shove.
