Annoying Screw!!
 

Hi,

can anyone give me any advice on how to remove the screw that holds the front brake disc onto the hub of the car, and is the screw really necessary.

I'm not sure if its the same on the Subaru, but i want to change my front discs and in all my previous cars i have always had trouble removing this screw and usually resorted to drilling it out.

I am worried about drilling on the Subaru though as i dont want to damage anything.

Have you tried an impact driver?

they dont have a screw holding the discs on , they just slide over the studs
