Difference between STi 4 and STI 5 ????
 

What are the exact difference between the STi 4 and 5 please, need some answers urgently ??????

new front bumper, crystal lights, better interior, larger spolier. vf28 turbo, phase 2 manifold, different cams, inverted suspension and a different dump valve mounting on the intercooler. that is what i can remember off the top of my head.

Interior is identical apart from the V5 has a passenger airbag and the V4 has a glove box in the same place

i mean the seats are different

the seats are exactly the same some may be a different colour but the material and styling are identical.I say this because i have an STi 4 type R and my mate has an STi5 and the seats are identical

Its a 98-S MY99 and the model code is GC8-F4ED, would this be a V4 or V5.

The car is champagne silver, it has all the crystal headlights etc etc and the twin air-bags, and the red on the sides of the seats goes all the way around the top and not just on the sides.

Any help please ????

version 5 started in september 98, the seats have red up over the top instead of just on the sides on sti 4, same seats tho

some v5 seats have different material, a friend has a v5 sti wagon and the material is different to the older sti seats.
