A friend had one on a renault 5 turbo a few year ago. It was really good but it didn't come cheap. It cost him 4 grand, it was worth more than the car

All production cars with 'sequential transmissions'; Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, BMW (with the possible exception of SMART) etc., use a conventional H pattern gearbox with a cunning electronic shift adaption; designed to give the impression of 'sequential shift'.
Real sequential transmissions cost thousands and thousands of pounds to manufacture..... Simon |

Simon it says it does the job, obviously if u have a lil standard mini metro it aint gonna matter a toss, but if u got somethin quick like an RA or Type R with the very close ratios then it would be a nice little job, cud save time on 1/4 mile drags |
I did look actually, but all I found were Power FCs and they took some looking for (so they did :) )
I listed the cars, particularly the Ferrari, to make my point. I know a fellow with one and he's adamant that its a fully sequential box... Simon |

It's pretty amazing they've made that system work with only mechanical gubbins. Be interesting to know how it feels to drive with; it looks a bit of a monster!
