I was actually looking for something compleatly different and tripped across this link. I can see the difference between this car and a blob eye STI PPP !

Yup, you can buy the dvd from John, his old type RA v-ltd was a lovely car :D and on the dvd he also does a talk through of the circuit, worth getting ;)

Really enjoyed watching that! I must learn how to drive my Scooby properly :-) Some really committed driving there, yet it all looked so calm and controlled.

I'm a bit intimidated by the ring, but would like to give it a go at some point; looks amazing

John; I think I remember that Lotus Esprit; was it white with a f*ck-off American V8, running in the GT championship in 1988/1989? If I remember correctly that was the only car that Chris struggled with.....

hi Simon,

Thats not the same Esprit, we didnt start running this until 1993 and it had a pidly little 3.5 litre in it at first, it's now running 6 litres so getting up there in f*ck-off terms. :D

I can confirm this is a great DVD :thumb:

Think I enjoy it more following my recent visit to the Ring. Can better understand the level of driving skill being demonstrated. :notworthy
