Just thought I'd post my thanks to Paul for a superb morning. I though I was quick but controlled, but he really opened my eyes to how balanced fluid driving techniques make for much more rapid progress. By keeping the car composed and settled I can now achieve much higher cornering speeds with higher commitment levels. Different to the rally style I have been taught in the past, but much more applicable to Englands fast flowing A-roads.

Many thanks :thumb:

It was a pleasure to give an already highly talented driver a few pointers.

I enjoyed the day Dave, especially when the techniques started to dawn and the progress was much smoother and more rapid.

I'm sure there are more folk to be converted!

Paul.

Hi Paul, was with Dave on Tuesday eve & I know he was impressed & happy. I'll tag along if/when you go out as you need to see how someone who isn't an already talented driver can improve!
Cheers
Steve

Paul, once again a big thanks for the tuition today :) Like you say, it's nice to see the penny drop on a proper way to drive on the road. It was an intense day though, and I'm now ready for bed before my night-shift at 10pm :(
I'm also very interested in taking it further, and pm me next time your available on a monday :)
Thanks again,
chris.

It was a pleasure Chris, great to see you got a lot out of the day.
Practice and you will reap the rewards.

Anyone else fancy it?

It's basically an insight into Roadcraft.

Paul.

Paul M8, I'm still interested in this but appreciate you're giving up valuable time off. As my bro-in-law is in the S Yorks force I could get 'trained' by their loonies.....er I meant instructors if you're pushed for spare time. It won't be in a scooby though - have you driven many rwd cars with 400 bhp per tonne?:D

He's given the Thrapper a damn good hammering both on road and track so I guess so - lol!

Paul is without doubt the safest, smoothest and quickest driver I seen in any car - period...

Paul Many Thanks for yesterday’s tuition and drive in the North York’s moors, a truly excellent day out. A real revelation into how to make good progress by keeping the car in a balanced and flowing format. Now spending any spare time going for drives and practicing what I learnt !
Richard

A pleasure Richard and very well done.

It's not easy to take some of it on board and put it into practice straight away, but you did very well.

Paul.

Just got back from and exceptional day's tuition with an exceptional instructor.

250 miles & 6hrs around North Yorkshires finest under the guidance of Paul.

I cannot rate this highly enough; A simply superb day that is a must for any serious driver who wants to get the best of their car and themselves..

Finally putting all those point and squirt runs behind me, Paul showed me how to travel swiftly & safely. Blending vision, planning and roadcraft into a variety of situations and road layouts to very high standards.

Thanks for your time today mate, it was very much appreciated and your enthusiasm and professionalism are second to none..

I await the second phase.. :norty:
