There is a MY03 STI with PPP on here for £12.5k and it isn't budging

That should give you some idea regards the price of yours.

Good luck :)

You got the link for this one talizman?

New_scooby_04 12 July 2005 02:57 PM

Personally I think 14k is a good price for a car of its specification and low milage. Unfortunately, it is a buyers market at the moment, but I would of thought you'd get some interest if you're patient!

Best of luck with the sale.

RLE,

YHPM.

Debsti,

Like New_Scooby_04 says, its a buyers market, big time.

If a car can retain 40-45% of its value after 3 years, then its doing okay in the current climate. Asking £15k for a 4 year old car is expecting it to have retained 55% after 4 years, which not many cars can actually do.

You may also find that the mods slightly de-value the car as it appears that there are more "purists" than "modders" in the used car market.

You can either sell your car quickly for a fair price or hold out for what you want for it, but inevitably you'll gradually drop the price bit by bit, and int he end-up you'll wish that you had priced it accordingly in the first place. Been there got the t-shirt

Good luck though and bttt :)

i reckon youll do well to get anything over 11,000 myself
i was offered 14.5k for my nov 03 53 reg sti with ppp 4 months ago as a trade in
do what im doing keeping it

DebSti 12 July 2005 10:36 PM

I am beginning to think might keep her!! I'm moving to North Wales on Friday though and need something more practical like a Nissan Narvara, so I can tow the horses and have my dog in the back! Scooby and animals dont mix!

Deb you will be disappointed with a Navara, We sold a scoob to get a L200 4Life, was ok but was glad to see back of it, they need regular servicing, do about same MPG as scooby. We sold ours and now I have my STi and Liz has her UK300, not selling them as spent too much getting em as we like em!

Hang on to yours!!!

ps my wife tows with hers and I lug a 1.5 tonne mini digger behind hers too, so dont worry about towin!

Rob and Liz
