new shape interior into classic???!?
 

afternoon all...

there is a possibilty i might be able to get a full interior from a new shape impreza thats about to visit the graveyard.... seats an all.... any idea if it would fit in my 94 WRX?

I believe New Age seats will fit into a classic, but obviously the door cards wont!

But the dash can ;) "with mods" do a search

I would imagine the dash swap would be the jod from hell. From doing a few searchs on here I gather the front seats will fit straight in. As for the rears, the mounting points are different and someone said they are narrower so you need to use some kind of foam to hide the gaps.

If the rears look OK then I'd do them too. If they looked iffy I'd see what the cost would be of re-covering the classic shape ones.

IIRC the dash board transfer also involved the drive train, wiring looms and electronics from a new age :) Hope you know what you're doing ;)

might go with the seats though... never sat in a new age scoob, how much better are the front seats??

ive swapped a dash over in a 1990 XR4x4 entire interior (including dash) before., took a whole day... Obviously there will be a bit more wiring in a scoob!
