been to Flamingo Land Zoo and Theme Park?

Looking to take the kids for a few days to Flamingo Land Zoo and Theme Park in Yorks. Anyone been? Any comments good or bad? Is it worth staying on site?

Not bad...........whether they'd want more than one day is questionable.
You could always do Flamingoland one day, Lightwater Valley the next.

Bit of advice: DO NOT stand to the rear of any tigers. The males spray p*ss about 20 feet, it splashes everywhere, and it absolutely STINKS!!!
