Ebay Issue. Advice required.

Hi Guys n gals.

Got a bit of an issue here. I just sold a Dell PowerVault NAS server on Ebay. It is exceptionally heavy, as is noted in the text. The guy that bought it wants it shipping to Switzerland, where he is based, even though my auction does say to post to UK only.

Im a bit dubious about sending expensive kit across Europe. In his feedback also there is a negative saying international sellers beware as he claimed the goods were broken and they werent.

What would you do ?

i would re-list the item and leave well alone

Difficult one. You can cancel it and relist for free as he has purchsed from outside UK and you specifically sain that was not possible. Or take the payment (cheque or cash) and send it and ignore if he says it,s broken - hence not paypal as he could cancel the payment.
I would cancel his win and make a Second Chance Offer to the next highest bidder anyway as its a UK sale only then relist if he does'nt want it.

Dont do it.
This guy might turn out to be ok, you never know, but I listed some car parts on ebay, stating UK only as I always do, and some guy in Sweden bought them. Turned out to be a complete nightmare, left me slightly out-of-pocket and he gave me 3 "neutral" feedback points.
Not worth the risk in my opinion, especialy for high value items.

Relist it!

Definitely relist it, not worth the waste of your time.

because it doesn't work that way, you can't just wash your hands of it that easily

you know what to do, relist or second chance it,:)

I have second chanced it so we will see what comes :)

Could be a major headache as Switzerland is not in the EU. We always have major problems sending kit there. Always seems to get stuck in customs for weeks.
