Turbo's, turbo's turbo's...

Hi,

The way i see it there's a few basic different turbo's right, td04 is the standard one on the UK models, and isnt much cop for high bhp. td05 seems a good allrounder?

They're all bolt on swaps?

So upgrading from a td04 to a td05 along with a re-map is likely to give a pretty good performance increase for the £ ?

I have a vf28 on mine, a quickfire turbo apparently ( whatever that is ), so how does that compare to the 04 and 05? If i wanted to up the power, what would be my best line of attack?

Rgds,
Dan

Whats the question? Is the TD04 a upgrade from your current VF28 = NO. Is the TD05 a upgrade from your current TD05 = Not really.

What are you power goals and what is the state of tune at the moment?

You can take your VF28 over 350 bhp with the necessary supporting mods. Far superior to a TD04 and a TD05 is not a power option for you.

Ah, excellent thread!

Sounds like i just need to think about getting a re-map really then! And anything else thats associated with that.

Cheers,
Dan
