Go staight to desktop ?
 

Hi guys for some reason my PC has decided before going to desktop on bootup it will stop and ask which user to start up with as there is ONLY one user i can only select me so bit of a waist of time .

So how do i get it back to the way it was before booting staight to my desktop ?

You should take advantage of the situation, go to control panel | user accounts and set up another Limited account - I have 'Everyone else' - use this account as much as you can and only let Everyone else use it. Much more secure.

Are you talking Windows XP..!!

If so go into Control Panel > User Accounts and select 'Change the way users log on/off'

If there is a tick in "Use The Welcome Screen" untick it....
