File Recovery Experts??
Trying to recover some image files for a mate (from a 256Mb Samsung CompactFlash card). The files seem to be intact. There are 27 TIF files. The first 3 have been recovered correctly - they show files sizes of 14512 KB (2560x1920).
All the other images have a file size of 7840KB (160x120). This seems a little odd. Is there any way of restoring the files to their original size? Any recommendations for software to try? I've tried a commercial package (ImageRecall 3) and a freeware package (Zero Assumption). I've actually had more success with the freeware version. Any comments or help would be much appreciated. Chris I've seen good results with either "Bad Copy" or the ultimate imo "Ontrack Easy Recovery Pro" The former recovered most of the files off a corrupt memorystick whereas the latter helped me recover over 4gb of data from a hard disk that was imminently failing (Windows wouldn't even let you browse the disk) Good luck Chris :) |
