Golf cosworth 4x4 may p/x
 
Needing a car that is a bit more practical so my track/road car needs a new home, im not 100% sure about selling so please no silly offers thanks.

Volkswagon golf GTI
cosworth 4X4
Fully prepared for track/rally and hillclimb use,
road legal
ENGINE:
Sierra cosworth, Recently rebuilt, wire ringed block,new bearings, rings and oil pump etc. group a engine mounts,
Running Collins chip on level 6 ecu, grey injectors, 3bar map, t34 hybrid turbo, 360 bearing, cut back blades, Bailey turbo damper.
350bhp.

TRANSMISSION:
Standard ford cosworth mt75 box,recent rebuild at ford, ap racing 6 paddle clutch, standard diffs and shafts.


SUSPENSION:
Front:- Bilstien tarmac spec coilovers, eccentric rose jointed(RJ) top mounts, RJ compression struts, RJ adjustable lower track control arms,
RJ track rod ends, fully adjustable for ride height, castor & camber.
Rear:- Bilstien tarmac spec coilovers, Rj top and bottom mounts, poly bushed axle mounts.


BRAKES:
Front:- Ap racing radial mount CP3720 4 pot calipers 315mm( can take upto 330mm discs) mintex race pads.
Rear:- standard 4x4 calipers with groved discs and EBC red stuff pads.
seperate cylinders/circuits front/rear.All brake lines stainless/braided hoses with adjustable front/rear bias, hydraulic handbrake.


WHEELS:
15" compomotive alloys with group A long stud bolts.

BODYSHELL:
Lightend, fully stich welded mk2 golf gti heavily modified to accept 4wd cosworth running gear.
safety devices steel rollcage with certificate for rally use. weighs 1160kg with weight certificate.
RAC logbook for compation use.

INTERIOR:
BMW E30 dashboard with cosworth clocks, spa digital gauges showing water/oil temp, oil pressure and battery volts.
boost gauge. motordrivecarbon composite race seats, willans 6 point harnesses, lifeline electric operated plumbed in fire extinguisher system, seperate hand held extinguisher,
all fia approved.

Car has many receipts and documentation.

May take a subarau in p/x

Yeh i'll be gutted to let it go, i've had so much fun in this wee car but it just aint very practical for every day use lol

car is in exellent condition and most of the stickers are off, just need to get some spare time to take the rest off, it looks much better without them

Fantastic car! I still have my MKII Golf on the drive and would have bought this had I not bought a Impreza Type R a few months ago. Keep me informed as I am tempted to sell my impreza for a true "drivers car" :-)

I would be more interested if the golf is pre 89 without pas

yes its pre 89 but its got the full cosworth running gear and that includes pas

Im about 20 min from edinburgh, yeh stickers come off with light heating and leave no marks on the paint.
