Brewing Beer in a Coffee Pot
Hello
I haven't tried it, but maybe worth a go! http://www.allaboutbeer.com/features/235coffee.html Steve |
Seems perfectly feasable, problem is you're not going to make much beer that way. Us homebrewers tend to make 40 pints at a time :D Hence the need for a big boiler, wort chiller etc. The process isn't complicated just a bit time consuming.
Having said that I make most of my beer from kits, far less fiddly, and you get very good results from the premium all-malt kits in the £15+ bracket. Homebrew is fine if you're an ale drinker, lager however is a lot more difficult to make to get the same consistancy as the stuff you buy down the pub. |
