Scoobyshootout update
 

all the pre paid entrants should receive event info and a competitor pass in the post within the next day or two. anyone who asked for a pitlane pass will also find one on its way. on saturday 14th may we will close off pre-entries, and post up the final pre paid entry list. after this cut off date if you do wish to run your car you will have to pay on the day.

gates open 7.45am for competitors and support , sign on from approx 8am onwards and driver briefing at 9.45am, dont miss this or you wont be able to run without asking to see the clerk of the course in person.

gates open 9am for spectators, scoobys will be directed to a designated area, other cars will park on second runway in general parking.

quite a few big power cars are coming along to run, including the Top secret drag R skyline, Kev sharp escort cossy, Calder supra, and of course some very quick scoobs.

the dvd from 2004 Scoobyshootout will be on sale next week on our site, and on the day itself, we are also giving away 5 copies on scoobynet next week in a prize draw.

another 20 cars have signed up this week so we are now at around 65-70 cars in total pre paid, plus the rwyb entrants on the day, so looking good for quality racing!

we'll update the full list with the pre paid rwyb and invited cars by midweek, so far around 70 cars in total with the scoobs, a very good field of cars. any rwyb people on the day will be allocated a number at sign on. please note that you may well be issued with a different competitor number and stickers at sign on anyway, to accomodate all the cars.

dont forget we can still run at elvington if its wet, makes little difference to the grip on that surface, unlike some venues.

Quick note to all!
please also respect the local villages and surrounding areas if coming along. we'd like to remind people that anyone speeding/driving dangerously in the parking areas or site in general / donutting or otherwise causing problems will be ejected and banned from all elvington events, it has happened once there already unfortunately!

too late to send anything else out now ,but speak to the pitlane entry gate people on sunday please mate. all the info has gone out to pre paid people (last ones tonight) to allow you in on the gates.

yes, elvington does still run in the wet, and for 4wd cars it doesnt actually make much difference to your 1/4m time as the surface is very grippy!
