Some info on your car:
bhp on uk fuel 215
Has higher comp ratio than saloon equiv thus less power
Has smaller turbo than saloon (td04 not td05) thus less power (saloons have 240 or 260 bhp.)
Car should run fine on optimax without the need for remap as the map you have now is not aggressive. Turbo you have is great down the bootm end.
Me and a few others with wrx wagons have upgraded to td05 turbos along with a remap or in my case a z4 saloon map to give better top end power.
My car ran 260.9 bhp today at scoobyclinic with the following mods:
td05
z4 ecu (12.7 psi held to 6500rpm)
full scoobysport decat (still gives rich afr)
polished/ported headers
A good remap shold see 280 bhp i guess

Enjoy the car mate. Wagons are great.
I think a good cheap worth while first mod would be some good ebc brake pads and some braded hoses. No good modding for more power if you cant stop it!
