Filled up the motor today and was given 6 "Driving" cars by Shell.

Come on guys only 4 cards left.....I am starting to believe that it can be done until july.......

Well yesterday was the first time I'd filled the Scoobs, I bought it last week with a full tank which dissapeared in < 200 miles....oh dear. It was the first time I'd bought Optimax too, so I was dreading how much it was going to come to. I was reasonably 'relieved' that it came to about £43 thought the tank might have been bigger and I'd be payng £60 for 200 miles each time!!!! (Although I probably have been driving it in not the most fuel efficient manner in the first week ;-)

Regarding winning the car what would you guys choose if you won, be interested to hear - and would you ditch your Scooby for it?

To be honest the only cars I'd consider swapping my 2002 Scooby for would be; TVR T350, Maserati Coupe or Evo FQ-400. The rest are either not as fast or too impractical.

I'd laugh if anyone choose the MX5 instead of the say a Maserati - as I'm sure Shell would!

I have decided that when i win, I'm having the merc slk55 amg - retails around 56k. Then will flog it for around 50k, and buy an evo VIII(yellow) and an RS4(steel grey) :D

Oh and keep my scoob for trackdays ;)

Well i've got 16 including the Audi TT 3.2 DSG and the VX220 turbo (actually had three of these but binned the other two!, sorry!) so it looks like the "Hard to get" card that they'll only print one or two of is gonna be the Exige or Benz SLK55.

Unless someone out there has either of those? :D

As I run a diesel I don't often get these cards, even though it says "no purchase necessary" so I've only got 9 different cards. I might get there eventually, but I'm never lucky on these things :( So, what have I got?

Wouldn't mind the 220 as I haven't got that one. Any others you don't want, send them to me so that my son can have a nearly complete set. I know there are always one or two that no-one ever gets, but hey, 20+ out of 24 ain't bad.

As for swapping them, nah, no-one ever wins and if anyone has the rare cards, why oh why would they ever share them with a total stranger? Especially as the others are so easy to come by :rolleyes:

Guess it is because people are stupid and expect someone to give them a really rare one in exchange for ones that everyone else has at least 5 copies of. Yeah right, would you like me to give you access to all my bank accounts, cards and PIN numbers etc in exchange for a Big Mac :D

First trip to Shell and the bloke gives me four packs of cards resulting in 22 of the required 24 cards! Just waiting for the Exige and Vauxhall like the rest of the population.

I've filled 3 times since this started. Let me guess - the robbing gits in Basingstoke don't automatically hand them out? Just like last time then :rolleyes:

I think you need to ask - I got mine by doing that and I only ever fill with diesel :D

Nat, you're one of the few with the VX220.

This is obviously a ploy by Shell, to make one card, the Exige, "the" card, ie with only six nationwide, but with a second card, the VX220, a difficult card, probably to incite all the "sharing/swapping" bollox, and to maintain interest for longer, seeing as there's feck all else you can do with these cards. Do they really underestimate the power of the internet to this extent...? :confused:
