Wheel width to suit RE070's

Whats the best wheel width to suit the Bridgestone RE070's 225/45 x 17. These are usually fitted to the standard 7.5 inch Subaru rim, would an 8 inch rim offer any advantages/disadvantages? The tyres themselves measure 7.75 inches across the beads.

No. And they won't fit on a Classic shape for sure. Dunno about New Shape.
