Auto Contents Page - Possible in Word?
 

Arghhh dissertation due tomorrow afternoon!

I have a vague memory that Word can look through your document for headings and make a contents page with the appropriate page numbers. Is the caffeine getting to me or is this true? I might just be thinking of AutoSummary which obviously won't do what I require.

Any ideas? (Pref. before 2pm :eek:)

Sure can provided headings are marked as heading 1, heading 2 etc. just go to Insert->Index and Tables and bingo a contents page.
