defi controller connector?

I need some help...
I have bought a used contoller and centre pod with guages, my car is a version 7 sti.

two things, where does the dc source connector go, and does anyone have a spare nut that holds the sandwich plate in place - i.e. extends the thread for the oil filter.

I've just refitted my Defis this afternoon :thumb: and this time they worked first time :D

Wiring on the "DC Source":

Red = permanent live (+12V)
Orange = switched live (+12V when key at ignition on position)
White = illumination (+12V when lights on)
Black = earth (0V)

For the sandwich plate, do you need it? Will the oil pressure and or temp sender units fit in the "normal" block positions of under the alternator and under the intercooler respectively? The standard senders supplied fit straight into the block at these points...

On the dc source, it has a connector rather than loose wires, i wasn't sure where the male end of the socket is locarted on the car, I was going to remove the radio and see if there is a balnk in there somewhere, any ideas?

If not I'll do as you have suggested.

The connector possibly goes onto the "redundant" feed for the clock as the dash pod is removed to put the gauge pod in - AFAIR there's nearly all the wiring connections you need at that point...
