Disc & Pads for Brembo 4 Pot
 

Recently got a 98 UK Scooby with the Brembo 4 pot brake conversion (fitted May 2001) and braided hoses. I need to replace the discs but don't know where to get replacements from. I am assuming they're the 310x28mm discs but am just going on info from the 'net. Also am I right to say that u need to replace the fixing screws at the same time??
I will replace the pads at the same time....currently fitted DS2500's but I've noticed the EBC redstuff mentioned along with others. Anyone know the best pads for my setup and any part numbers as I can't seem to find anything.....
For info, I do the occasional track day and have the standard setup on the back with EBC greenstuff pads, EBC shoes and braided hoses.

Ant help would be greatly appreciated

I assume that these brakes were of a New age STi with gold calipers ;) If so I used Godspeed disc and EBC ceramic Red Pads found them good on track and raod :D

Not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs ;) but on the roads using different Pads front and back maybe OK :rolleyes: but you really shouldn't mix them on the extrems of the Track IMHO. During the different Temperature ranges with the same Pads if you may lose 20% or gain 10% but that's all round ;) The different Pads Characteristics can alter the Bias of front to rear braking with a mixture you may lose 20% front and gain 10% rear or vice versa.

the callipers are Black and were bought from Scoobysport in 2001...I've sent a mail to them and will call tomorrow but just thought I'd post anyway.

almost forgot...what I meant by the fixing screws are the screws/bolts that fix the rotor to the "hub"...or am I talking sh*te..???

No your not ;) I ' am :( i assumed you were taking about the Newage Brembos ;) not the Scoobysport conversion :D they are normally really helpful :cool:

Disks are prob 304x28mm. This kit was supplied with a few different disks until they finally settled for the AP grooved version. Earlier kits were Brembo disks, and could be either 304mm or 305mm.

EBC reds are cheap, available through the group buy that's on at the moment, but I've read a couple of comments about them not lasting very long, so could be a false economy.

For helpful advice contact Alyn at AS Performance. He the man when it comes to brakes. Also, Godspeed can supply replacement disks, as can Hi Spec in Dartford.
