space saver

approx. how many miles is the space saver spare tyre good for?

Don't know about the one in a Scooby, but the one on my old Alfa was only supposed to be driven for a couple of hundred miles max. Judging by the amount of tread on the Scoob space saver, I'd guess it's designed to last around the same distance.

I had mine fitted today after finding a nail in my nearside rear. The subaru assistance mechanic told me distance was no problem, just dont bust 50mph.

Ah well, Ive done 19k miles on this set of tyres so im off to buy a new set of RE050's.
