Really feel that with all the Bank Holiday traffic , Heading away for the Long weekend we need to start heading down to Devon in good time :D

Anyone know of any Optimax stops along the rally route? (150miles isn't it? :confused: ) or is the rally route a secret until they issue it on the day? :)

Fill up before the start of the Rally , Should see us through :thumb:

Get pace notes on the day for the route ;)

Starting from the Haynes Motor Museum just off the A303 at Sparkford the two routes will criss/cross and all the crews should end up at the designated lunch halt and then all finish at Lufton Manor, Yeovil.The "Classic Route" is approximately 110 miles and the "Touring Route" is approximately 135 miles.

So we should be able to do it on a full tank.I will try & find out where the lunch stop is http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/images/smilies/ponder2.gif and then I can sniff out a nearby Shell garage in case anyone is getting low.

Ok then best we get this route finalised for the trip down to Sparkford ..

1 . Leaving Thurrock services @ Midday

2. Taking the M25 (Clockwise) Round to Junction 12 M3

3. Following the M3 Down to Juction 8 A303

4. Remaining on the A303 Stopping @ Bulford/ Amesbury Services ( Optimax ) For a fresh cuppa & a wee ( Flat Eric ;) , This also gives KevD & Simon 57 a chance to catch up with us ( This stop is 115 miles away from Thurrock )

5. Heading back out onto the A303 Still And following to we reach our destination @ SPARKFORD This is 155 miles from Thurrock

Please all try & Have 2 way radios with you , Just makes life just a little easier & Also is a giggle on the way down as well
