Recieved an E Mail from the organisers of this brand new event last week , Also met them @ Bolney today as well .

We are going to have a SIDC/ ESC / RB5 Stand @ This event , With Reduced addmission prices as well :D

We may have to order tickets in advance for this event , But just awaiting comformation , We may have special dispensation so that we may be able to pay on the day , Will of course update you all accordingly ..

Of course ESC Convoy will be running to & From this event , We need to be there sharpish on the Morning of the 25th June , So we can get the Cars , Stand in place , Will also confirm time & Meeting places a little nearer ;)

GT Battle is an all new car event for your calendar.

Held at Rockingham Motor Speedway,


SPECTATORS will have the choice of 5 grandstands, infield or the pit garage roof, allowing first class views of all the action. If nine hours of high excitement sounds too much to handle, you can always take a more sedate look around the competitor/trade paddocks, show ‘n’ shine competition and club car displays.

CONFIRMED COMPETITORS include

Triple TOTB winner ‘Rocket’ Ronnie and his 200mph+ Skyline.

Sumo Power will have their new EVO 8 track car, plus their new 350z drift weapon.

RC Developments and their 900bhp Evo.

Simon Norris (builder of world’s fastest Evo) and his brand new car.

And Redline magazine’s 606bhp Sierra Cosworth.



GT Battle plays host to:

- Time Attack - One hot lap against the clock
You've warmed the car up, the tyres are up to temperature - you've one lap to win the competition. It takes more than big BHP to win on track - the suspension, the braking setup. And the driver.


- Drift Battle - The UKs best drift drivers head to head
From the hills of Japan drifting to Rockingham Motor Speedway. A demonstration of supreme car control, super fast sideways action and plenty of tyre smoke!


- Zero to 60 - Run What You Brung Traffic Light Grand Prix
Ever wondered how your car stands up against a 400bhp EVO? Have you had long running arguments with your mates over who has the quickest car? Now is the time to test it! On track, with timing equipment, side by side. It's you against the lights! No arguments.

Just North of Corby from The South East...

Travel north on the M11
From the M11 join the A14 signposted North / Huntingdon
Leave the road at junction 23, the junction with the A1(M)
Continue on the A14 (first exit left at roundabout) signposted Corby
Exit the A14 at junction 12 onto the A6116 signposted Corby
Continue on the A6116 until you reach the A43
At the A43 roundabout take the second exit right onto the A43 signposted Corby
Continue on the A43 through 1 roundabout signposted Corby
At the second roundabout turn left signposted (A6003) / Oakham
At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A6116
Take the first right turn into Shelton Road - Rockingham Motor Speedway is located at the end of the road.
