Race anyone?

Just spent the last half hour or so sticking this together to see what sort of track I could make with the 2 sets I have here :D I still have 2 more big sets plus additional track and 25+ cars in my parents loft  a bit overkill!

Apparition 23 April 2005 09:32 AM

Trashman...... don't be stuck with sex stereotypes... the girls would probably love it !

Paulo P 23 April 2005 11:47 AM

Very true :) The girl at my local shop is so into it it's scarey  She knows it inside out and at first I thought she's good at her job but last time I was in there she was listing all of the kit she has :eek2: Puts me to shame :(

AndyC_772 23 April 2005 12:03 PM

Only if it comes with a bigger house to put it in! :):)

CrisPDuk 23 April 2005 02:23 PM

Well  Paul:D:D

Much to the wife's dismay, me and the stepson have just 'invested' in a load more scalextric to complement the two F1 circuits and additional track packs. We now have the grand total of 188 pieces, including a Le-mans start, a goodwood chicane, TWO banked corners and a hairpin:D The only thing missing now is the humpback bridge. Oh yeah, and the space to put it up:)

FASTER MIKE!! 23 April 2005 05:52 PM

did'nt jame beatie have a massive one in his pad when he was a southampton?

If anyone wants me I'll be at the tip dumping dolls and furry things, then I can be found in the Scalextric section of Toys R Us.

scoob_babe 23 April 2005 09:05 PM

My mum and dad bought us a scalextric for Christmas.....I've been going on at them for a deprived childhood in not having one for about 25 years!!!! Next stop loft conversion so the aquisition of new track can go up there instead of having to pack it away!!!!!!!!

super_si 23 April 2005 09:48 PM

All of this track is mint which is odd considering the Cosworth set is nearly 20 years old  the track is as good as my Starsky & Hutch set that's only 4 months old  The rails are still shiney (sp?) too

celticpilgrim 23 April 2005 10:03 PM

we've got an X3 set (whatever that is) with a Skoda Fabia and a Scoob bugeye

Damn, that Skoda is fast!!!! it has 4wd, and the scoob is only 2wd

go figure!!! :eek2:

Paulo P 23 April 2005 10:07 PM

I want that Skoda too :D
