Evo brembos on a scoob?

im after some new calipers for my 1993 impreza, and waswondering whether or not some EVO 8 brembo calipers would fit. I have absolutely know idea what im doing with brakes or what is required to fit them, so any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Well if they are anything like the Subaru Brembo's, you will have problems fitting them due to the way they protrude out behind the alloys.... you may need to go onto mlr and ask there.

As well as whether they'd fit behind the wheels you also need to take account of the piston area so you don't either end up with a brake pedal that either hits the floor or is so hard you can't exert enough pressure. You'll need to get disks to match, a disk bell made up with the correct offset, and a set of mounting brackets.

As you say you don't know what you're doing about brakes I'd advise you buy a kit that has been designed for the car. It's not like fitting a dump valve - if you get it wrong the consequences don't bear thinking about.

Thanks for the info guys. I think ill steer clear of them and get some calipers made for my impreza instead. Surely someone has at least experimented with getting non-impreza designed calipers on an impreza at some point though?
