Pic Request, HKS FMIC and MY99/00 bumpers.
As above anybody got some shots of their intercooler core and the MY99/00 bumper. Especially interested in how much it sticks below the bottom of the bumper.
Cheers, Tony. |

Tony
Theres a link on here http://www.bradwarren.f9.co.uk/ from when i fitted Brads It sticks below the bumper by approx 1 inch |
Just had a look Steven and can't find the link.... i'll try again, probably me going blind ;)
An inch doesn't sound too bad. Just woundering whether to go for an STi6 lip, i'd rather scrap the lip when parking than just taking the bottom of the intercooler off ;) . My car sits quite low on the Ledas so the scrapping sound of the lip would give me an early warning sound before i damage the intercooler!!! Tony. |
The large HERE in the middle of the page :D
http://www.bradwarren.f9.co.uk/project-1.htm Go P1, it sits a tad lower than the V6 lip, and also has the vents in it. Thats what i would do. |
LOL... somebody shoot me :D .
I did think about P1 but not sure it would look right on my car.... here's an old old pic or two, what do you think? http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...4/f4c15dcb.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...9/f4c15dd2.jpg Tony. |
Hmm, having had an STi 6 on my 1st scoob, and a different one on this scoob, i am now going to a P1 splitter.
P1 would look ok, or something like i had. http://www.stevend.org/uploads/spdatshootout2004.jpg |
That looks pretty good. I think Money had a P1 on his black car.... i'll have to dig out some pics of that and see.
I'd rather the core was like the APS and didn't drop that low... but beggars can't be chosers :D Tony. |
In fact Money had a HKS FMIC too.... now where are those pics ;)
Tony. |
Have a look here, Tony.

Brilliant, cheers Jimmy.
Hope Frank doesn't mind but... black car, hks and P1 lip: http://www.tweenierob.co.uk/BMW%20323i%20coupe/31.jpg Looks good i think. But maybe i would need some 18"s to complete the look. Tony. |
