wanting buy a impreza what is there for 5-6k

hi fella, i have just taken a deposit on our current project and will be handing the keys over in 1 months time, i am after something with big hp 200plus ideally that also has some styling to it but can be used on the track, i have though evo, skyline, pulsar and mr2 turbo but just though i would ask the advice of you fellow scooby owners. What is your opinions and if scooby what should i be looking for for about 5-6k.

will ring me mate and ask him for full details-will be a couple of week anywaybefore he sells it hes only just took engine to be done.i know he were told by the previous owner it were around 300bhp but means nothing really without rolling road proof.

ukdave 19 April 2005 12:01 AM

rang mate it will have full mot,its done 54000miles,full afterburner exhaust,4pots with grooved discs on front, dumpvalve, induction kit, unichip, momo steering wheel, quickshift also been told it may be an sti engine,lowered-rest of mods u can see in pics-will pm u his number if youre interested.

i dont want to be getting anyones hopes up so ill wait unitl this lad fully competes the sale at our end then ill contact you back regarding it but that seems to be a nice motor and i do like white. You can gladly send over his details if you wish and i will keep them on file ready i think thats probably more sensible.

sounds liek it doesnt need much doing to it really which is a good thing, ill just have to mnod the interior with a nice momo trek wheel which i stangly have plenty of stock of :)

just a quick question actually what is the better the sti or the wrx and what front bumper is that on those 2 cars shown as i cant see it on any others im guessing its not standard.

mitch@evolution-r 20 April 2005 11:49 PM

right just had a quote for 570 fully comp for a scooby wrx but 1800 for the wrx sti whats the big difference cos thats a stupid jump.

Whos that through!!!!!??? Tescos wanted an extra 200 quid extra for an Sti as opposed to a wrx.

Feffers 21 April 2005 02:23 PM

The Sti is quicker (4.7 to 60 as opposed to 4.9) and has better internals I think.
