I know what's on my shopping list for next spring.

How long did it take Harvey to fit it?

Nice install, that polished pipework looks excellent, would it be rude to ask where you sourced it from?

Harvery sells them at an excellent price.

Iwan

Went to Darlington and it would have only taken 1 day, but Harvey was sent the wrong induction kit so i stayed an extra night and it was another few hours the next day... i had ported headers fitted at the same time which took a bit more time ... if you were just having the FMIC i would think it would be just the 1 day fitting...

Scoobmeister.. everything came via Harvey.. the FMIC is the Hybrid one that has been on a few group buys..

Does anyone know where you can get the protective grill for the intercooler from.

Will this Hybrid Intercooler fit a '96 Sti with the standard intake box or an induction kit is required?

It's on my shopping list along with a remap so it would be good to know.

scooby-tc 17 April 2005 07:50 PM

the airbox has to be replaced with an induction kit as the intercooler pipe from the turbo goes through the wing where the box would normally fit.Its a great bit of kit tho and looks the dogs

Thank you very much "scooby-tc".........it looks the dogs indeed but on the other hand my insurance renewal quote will bite!!:)

Not sure, but I don't see why your insurance should go up after fitting an FMIC. Yes its modified the car but it doesn't provide more power really. Wouldn't be surprised if it did raise insurance though.
