job offer (whilst working notice)
 

I resigned my job last week, and am currently working my notice..

on friday i was talking to one of my colleagues, who suggested i call a guy in our australia company, as they were looking for some people to work for them, due to masses of work going there way, and my name was in the frame for the role!!!

sheeesh,, now heres the rub...

i mentioned it to her indoors, and she,s not to struck on the idea at the mo..

wants to be near her m&d as there getting on..

i also have a teenager who lives with my ex wife..

i am going to find out about the job, as it may be a uk based role but with a customer base overseas, so i would need to travel (as i do now)

but emigrating realy appeals.... no more crap weather ( hm no snow though)

then ive also got to think about the job offer ive just accepted.. do i go there then quit ??

what would you people do in that position??

I would accept the job and quit sometime after.

Just tell the new people - "I'm sorry, the role is not for me...."
