Putting partners name on a LET for CGT evasion?
 

My accountant recently told me there was no point putting the g/f's name on the flat I rent out in order to minimise some soon to kick in CGT - he said any transfer attracted stamp duty.

I just thought about it again and wondered why I couldnt apply her CGT allowance to £120k of the value as if I did do a transfer there is no stamp duty payable at this level is there?

Am I missing something b4 I hassle hom further at £XX per minute!!! He did mention a wedding invite as a solution :eek: ;)
