God, there's just no end to the green nazi's agenda of oppression is there? They've really got a taste for it since the hunting ban.

Actually from what I hear, the local tory candidate was all for it being closed down :(

Clarebabes 14 April 2005 04:00 PM

I don't know whether I want to put my name to something with spelling mistakes in it. Call me old fashioned...

Got any evidence? Or is that just more speculation? ;)

:D

Iain Young 14 April 2005 04:24 PM

I know someone that spoke to the candidate when they were canvassing for votes the other day. Not first hand evidence though, I admit ;)

An anecdote then, or to put it another way, hearsay or gossip, unverifiable and possibly made up? :D

Iain Young 14 April 2005 04:40 PM

Nope not made up as far as I know, (unless my friend made it up - which I think is unlikely as he is regular at the circuit and is trying his best to help).

What is fact however, is that the current mp for the area (James Gray) is conservative, and has done nothing to help so far...

Iain Young 14 April 2005 04:42 PM

Also, if you look at the council members for North Wiltshire District Council (the area controlling coombe), they are all either conservative or lib dem, so I think it's a bit unfair to blame labour for this one...

Can't have that done to such a good track. I still hold a lap record there!

Les :(

Tolerance continues to leave our society in droves [hunting what you wont eat excepted of course]. As long as they dont do night races in unsilenced cars...

Petition signed.

Ban fireworks next please - as they are, well, noisy at 2am ;)

D

PS I hope this is in no way linked to the derisory hazard causing speed cameras on the M4 also by Wiltshire ...
