WHERE SHOULD I GO FOR A NEW BATTERY?

MY UK 98 Turbo - with a flat battery! It has been going for a while so it is definately this. I need it kind of sharpish. Where should I go for a quick, cheap job? I do not mind doing it myself if I have to but really need it today. Halfords, Kwik Fit? What should I be expecting to pay?

Same happened to mine. Replacement about £48 from Halfords, sealed unit guarenteed for 3 years. very easy to fit.

That's where I ended up going!! £55 fitted - done now - only a 2 year guarantee but sure the car will be written off or stolen by then!!!

I normally pick mine up from Vauxhall for about £30  My brother has a "trade club" card which means I get bits dirt cheap :D Handy now I've got a scoob ;)

Get the right ampere hour rating. Phone round for some prices. The guarantee period is important depending on how long you are keeping the car. Try your motor factors who supply the trade. eg Andrew Page and compare it with exhaust or tyre depots and Halfords.
