speaker wiring
when using an amp do you have to use the the really thick wiring or are you able to use standard speaker cable. the reason being is i have just changed my car and theres not a lot of space in the door loom to get the thick stuff through so i wondered if i could use the original car wiring without setting fire to anything!

its better to use thicker, but you can 'get away' with the oem stuff, what size amps are you using?

As David says, you'll be OK with standard but it really won't do you any favours.
There's a grommet under the original grommet, lower down in the door hinge. I used that to come through for my audio wires, and then went into the original grommet at the door side |
