So, onto the meat;

Does anyone know of any Insurance companies that would give a discount on impreza insurance if you're a member of SIDC? Insurers should preferably cover modified cars as well.?

Also, I seem to recall there was talk of some SIDC insurance scheme, are there any more details on this?

And now a question for the committe.

What are your plans, if any, with regards to insurance. For example, SIDC talks to Adrian flux, (or similar insurer, just using a name here) about setting up some 'special' deal for SIDC members, to get us lower insurance. Obviously this would need to cover modified cars as well.

Didnt you get the £35 OFF vouchers with the latest issue of True Grip? (Silverstone Insurance services Tel: 0800 0929888) I did but havent tried to use them yet.

Yup, did get the vouchers, but I'm in the middle of a policy at the moment and therefore switching might be a little foolhardy.

Also, I'd quite like a little more than 35 quid off for changing insurers, granted the policy might be cheaper than I'm paying now, but I doubt it.

Got my vouchers but the quote was over £900 with the best at £580.
