Rats - who foots the bill.......?
 

So, we have a blocked drain, I get the plumber around and we discover my drain is full of dead rats!! nice!!

No problem, we sort them out with the Sulphuric acid and clear the blockage!!

Now this doesnt come cheap!! Is it down to me to pay or will the council deal with it?? or the water board for that reason??

IIRC, mice are your problem, but rats are the council's. Why don't you phone them and ask?
