My brother has just purchased a Seat Leon Cupra R with REVO Technik upgrade.

Yes indeed ! After 6 very happy years of Scoob ownership , I've gone and got one of these. Saw a Revo'd one up for sale , so thought I'd take it for a little test drive & Bl***y Hell !! Was well surprised how quick it felt , obviously without ragging it , pull away felt good , but 3rd & 4th blew me away . Pick it up on Saturday & if anyone is interested will post a comparison. I hope I like it , coz it's gonna break my heart to finally part with the Scoob.

i'm down for the trial software in two weeks time, i feel once the 5 hours is up i shall be warming the card in the visa machine :O

Had my Revo upgrade on my Golf TDi for nearly a year now. Never turn it off unless in for a service.

Although its not a neccessity. The majority of chipped LCR owners change the DV for either forge/baileys

The standard bosch DV is very likely to fail with the increase in boost pressure. There are numerous threads over on seatcupra.net about this.

When i enquired about my map, i was told the 2 should come hand in hand with 1 another. The wooshy dumpvalves do not work on the 1.8T

Plenty other chip tuners out there too, and revo allegedly nicked the technology off APR- do a google search for the injunctions :o

ps what dyno is that on as most 1.8t, K04's dont produce more than 260 ish, unless you go on AMD's rollers lol

BOV's are bad for the 1.8t engine. You'll not hear many of the Vag based cars hissing around.

Go onto any of the vag based forums and they will tell you exactly the same.

I think it is possible Mitch. There's a black LCR round my way that's got one. Next time I see him, i'll ask him about it. I 've heard a few Golfs with them on too. Don't think it's a simple task though.

They may have them on but I'd put money on them not running correctly or logging faults... I ran mine with a standard Bosche one for 2 1/2 years with no problems REVO'd.

I was very impressed with what Revo can do when I looked into this for a friend and his Audi S3!

When I replace my commuting car (Ford Ka), a Golf TDI is high on the list! I'd even make do with a 130, as long I could afford the Revo!!! ;)

The Forester is the family car, so it doesn't need to be 'that' fast!!! ;)

A friend of mine is running a bailey dv26, without any problems. Although they aren't recommended his car is running fine and there aren't any faults being logged. He's just changed it for a dv30 as he's planning on getting his car remapped, apparently they don't work on remapped cars.

regarding hissing around, have you not heard a 1.8t with a CAI? there's plenty of hissing even with the standard dv.
