What a great day, even though i didn't go up the strip this time i throughly enjoyed it, the jet car was amazing 272mph :notworthy

got to have big b*lls to go that fast! :eek2:

Oh yes what a F - Brilliant day out :D

Sometimes i wonder why i pay over £400 A Month ( Just Finance !! ) for my scoob , Must admit that it crosses my mind that really the money could be well spent elsewhere !!!

But when you have a drive to the show like that ;) & An even Better Blat on the way home :norty: It for me just makes it all worthwhile :D

Not only is it the cars , The Shows etccc.. But what makes it for me is you, The friends that i have made over the last 3 years of scooby ownership , Just makes the day complete when in such great company !!

Still Buzzing now , As you can tell !!

Missed the A12 Junction Blatting With Betts ( Ripped ya ass !! ) Then got my Ass ripped By the almighty Spec 'C' & Even missed the A127 Junction !!

Still made sure that i took the A13 !!

If this day out Really is anything to go by then 2005 Really is going to be special , Proud to be part of this ESC We really have got a good thing going !!

On a bit of a downer note tho ... I Had reserved 5 SIDC Stand passes for CROWBUCK SCOOBYS , Not one showed , No call , No Text , No reply on here , Not good really, But hopefully wont happen again ..

must admit, for my first visit to 'the pod' i thoroughly enjoyed, and as for that jet car, fook me, my ears are still bleeding from the noise of it.

managed to catch it on its first run on my phone (video) :notworthy :eek2:


apologies to duSTI for my sat nav having a bad day and not realising that the M1 actually exists.....it was very close to bein thrown out the window @ 1 point :mad:

managed to get from toddington services to upminster shell garage on vapours (phew!!!!)
3/4 of a tank of fuel today .... and i didnt even run it on the strip!!!!

Had a blinding day, nearly gave it a miss because I keep getting worried about how much the car costs and if I should sell, but you can't put a price on day's like today, had a great one, makes the car earn it's keep 10 fold!!!!!
Thanks for organising it and getting us all there at the right time (yes, even me :p )

Great drive home, lots of 70mph (cough cough) action, think everyone enjoyed it........except the TT driver maybe :hjtwofing

perfect on the rolling meet
super fast drive up from toddington (jackie had eyes closed)
saw some great runs up the strip
was even tempted myself
ive got to get myself a helecopter jet engine for scoob,
might even beat spec'c' :norty:
shame about the traffic on the M1
gutted when i go west and you lot go east :cry:
wont see you all till may(southend) now so have fun

Must just add my views and what a great day. Although we left just around 2ish still had a good time, the drag strip was quality, nice to see many of the scoobs holding their own down there.

And yes good people to talk too and enjoy the day with and some new faces as well.

What a summer this is going to be. ESC RULES !!!
