OR you could just go to your local hardware store and buy some longer bolts and some spacers!

Sold the Type R for a UK newage model, I'm getting too old for this;):D

From memory the STi V3 has the same TMIC as the MY98 V4. I know someone who could sell you a precision engineered pair of spacers and bolts for less than the cost of your fuel to B&Q. ;)
