Strange creak/clonk from front near side
 

I also get a slight vagueness from the front sometimes. The noise occurs on bumpy right hand bends at fairly low speeds. It seems worse when I have a front passenger. Turning left is perfectly OK.

From what I've read on the forums this could be one of the bushes. But on all the posts I've seen, it was the rear bushes that go, not the front.

What do you guys think?

If you hear it on low speeds while turning, to me it sounds like your cv joint is gone, not a big deal but just need changing.

It does it at about 20mph I think, like when I go round a roundabout.

I'm going to my Subaru dealer this weekend for something else so I'll ask them to have a look at both the bushes and cv joint.

I've had something similar but from the rear - car failed the MOT yesterday due to a shot shock absorber...

All the problems seem to be at the rear not the front like mine. The was why I was wondering. Hopefully it's just the bushes.
