Clutch life 2003 WRX and how much to replace?

Hi I have a 2003 WRX and the clutch seems to be slipping. I've done 46000 miles in it, would this be normal or should there be alot more life left in it? 70percent of what i do is motorway driving.
How much will it be to replace? I've never really had anything chargable done at a subaru dealer, do they tend to be alot more xpensive for servicing, than say kwick fit etc?
Cheers!

My local scoob dealer's very good on price, but iv'e not had load's of stuff done. As for your clutch, my mate's got an 02 sti, with 55000 mile's on it, and the clutch is fine, and it's not had an easy life!:thumb:

just replaced the clutch on my 03 sti+pp after 60k with Ap racing organic + reengineered flywheel at TSL. ~£900.

feels a better clutch .. but takes a bit of getting used to.
