Powder Coated Alloy Repairs

I have some damage which is worsening quickly on all four of my alloys, can anyone recommend and hazard a guess at refurbish costs, some folk say 50 quid per wheel, seem fair?

When I had these new three years ago they had to be repainted twice due to flaking and in the end Subaru powder coated them. My concern is if this will make any repair any more difficult, used Chips Away for some minor scuffs a year ago and well impressed with results but they dont do wheels do they? Yellow Pages not to hand...sorry!

Anywhere in Worcester to Birmingham A38 Corridor would be most convenient or with reasonable travelling of this.

In advance thanx

Two refurbishers spring to mind,

1/ Spit and Polish Not used these guys but heard good things.

2/ Wicked Wheels

Just before christmas i brought a set of second hand wheels with very minor damage on two. WW took a look at them all and said they had been worked before and couldn't promise a perfect match with the remaining two. Wanting the best for the Scoob i had them all refurbished at £65 per wheel. Thats strip to base, powder coating etc etc. Fantastic job. Anthracite finish by the way.

As regards to power coating try Bournes Power Coating in Birmingham
Digbeth/Near City Centre.
£15 each wheel.
However I dont think they actually repair any kerb damage etc.
Only shot blast to remove old paint etc. Then power coat & laquer.
Sorry I cannot find their business card, but I am sure they are in the yellow pages somewhere?

I am also thinking of getting my wheels done...any thought on

www.rochfordtyres.co.uk

I have had wheels done from them before, though did not like there phone attitude when i called them today...I was going to buy 4 new tyres from them and asked if they would put the new tyres on for free after the wheel refurb, and was told they want an extra £10 per wheel!!!
