Could someone tell me what the alloys are that the Subaru team use to the asfalt stages of the WRC and if they are available off the shelf to subaru owners????

Thanks
Chris.

Magnesium alloys= very expensive.

you won't be able to fit a pukka WRC alloy to your car due to the width and offset of the wheel..............the WR cars use a one-off hub set-up that bears no relation to the production kit!!

you should be able to get a 'copy' wheel to give the rally look........current sponsorship for the wheels is BBS..........

Does anyone do a replica then at an affordable price ????

Does anyone know BBS's home page, i have found various companies selling their alloys but have not yet found a match for the WRC rims. I was going to check out thier home page.

The P-WRC1 is the road-going version of that style of WRC wheel. Available for every Impreza from a Subaru dealer.

Mike

The P-WRC1 has been around a while now, made by OZ, so will they're be a new BBS version on the horizon?

Tony.

minty 14 March 2005 04:16 PM

Yeah i have the P-WRC1 rims on my scooby but i'm after a wider track on my scoob and so need some rims with a different offset and wider rim to fill my new arches.

It's either new replica bbs ones if they do them or the P-FF7 ones.

The wheel we have for the STi fitted with Brembo brakes is ET46 so this may help a little.

Mike

minty 15 March 2005 06:20 PM

Which wheel is that Mike and do you do a wider version 8/8.5 with the ET46??

Thanks
Chris.(i'm gonna fill my arches if it kills me)

MikeWood 15 March 2005 10:07 PM

Chris

It's the P-WRC1 wheel but it does fit inside the std bodywork on a later car so it may not fill the arches properly. Mind you, 22B wheels just about fit an 03/04 car as well :)

I may have to get the tape measure out or somehow try one and see if i can ?? Otherwise get them and work with them then eh :)

Lets wait until the wings are sorted in the bodyshop this week hopefully, then stress over this dilema :)

Thanks Mike.
