Money no object..keep the Scoob?

O.K. You can have one car, money no object...would you have a Scooby or go for a supercar/hypercar/classic etc? Come on be honest, we are all friends here.
Personally being a family man with kids I can't think of a much better car to stick the kids in and still get some top notch performance fun in than an Impreza. O.K. I could squeeze the the kids into the back of a TVR Cerbera but I think they would go mental on a long journey. Thoughts please.

I'd have to say a Skyline R34 V-Spec, then use the rest of the money no object wedge to increase bhp 'a little' :D

team kosoku 11 March 2005 09:51 PM

Good choice Michael!

shaunywrx 11 March 2005 09:56 PM

Porche cayenne turbo, chipped to 700 bhp (it's been done apparently) you've then got a car that'll do anything, yes i mean anything.

Rumplestiltskin! 11 March 2005 09:58 PM

More than just a chip methinks !!

team kosoku 11 March 2005 10:00 PM

OOH Shauny...top ten ugliest vehicle ever!

Danny B 11 March 2005 10:00 PM

O.k just an expression, but you can have it done for an all in price of £30000 including fitting! So i'm told.

team kosoku 11 March 2005 10:02 PM

It would have to be purple Danny. Good choice though..practical and blistering performance.

Top ten, i'd say top three, but i can't think of the other two at the moment. But i have'nt gotta look at it when i'm driving it!:p

team kosoku 11 March 2005 10:06 PM

Top 2? Nissan 100NX, Renault Velle Satis.

SPEN555 11 March 2005 10:07 PM

If money was no object I would probably keep the scoob and have it modded (none of that chav $hit) to make it go quicker.

Tbh, I would not want say a Ferrari as all the jealous ba$tids out there are gonna spit on it or scratch etc.

I love AM's but seeing them breakdown on Top Gear and Fifth Gear really is ridiculous considering how much has been spent.

The only option I see is 911! all the way. RS of course :D

Incidently, one company I worked at had a guy win £1.6m on the lottery.... he bought a P1 and has had it for a number of years.

Damian.

team kosoku 11 March 2005 10:11 PM

911 RS is a good choice for the playboy/single lifestyle. Can you fit a pushchair in the boot?

Paulo P 11 March 2005 10:27 PM

I'd have a scoob but it'd be a pukka WRC ;)

leecalcars 11 March 2005 10:30 PM

It would have to be the mclaren f1,and a 2 month holiday to the nurburg all inclusive. ha ha ha ha

chrisp 11 March 2005 10:32 PM

money no object I would have about 50 cars, just for starters

richie rich 11 March 2005 10:33 PM

I often thought that but do you not think it a crime for a car to be built and never used? I think I would probably have a few cars and then join a club which gave you access to various models in exchange for points?

Daft Lad 12 March 2005 02:26 AM

I'd want a LOT of cars if money was no object...but if I could only have one...I'd probably go down the 22B route! :D

Gary C 12 March 2005 10:12 AM

288 GTO :)

Jamescsti 12 March 2005 01:52 PM

i'd want a Aston Martin DB7

I'd still want a scooby as well though, probably a 22B

brianpat 12 March 2005 02:19 PM
