McAfee Security Center/Firewall?
 

I have recently put McAfee Security Center 2005 onto 2 PC's which I have networked, sharing a printer and some files between them. All has been working fine until I put McAfee on both PC's!

As soon as a PC has this installed I try to access the other PC and I get an error message which says "incorrect function". I can ping it and also run VNC Viewer and view the desktop of the other PC but I can not access any files on the other PC.

The IP Address of both PC's have been entered into the "trust this IP Address" settings within the firewall but it doesn't seem to have any effect. As soon as I un-install the software I can then browse either of the PC's fine?!?!?!

Does anyone use this software, or even have any ideas? ............... Oh and both PC's are running XP Pro with SP2. And I have also disabled the windows firewall???

ALL ok here....... can see and share files across the network Sweet as..
